大地震

2004年12月26日，發生了一次撼動全球的大地震。儘管許多人根本沒有感覺到，但南亞及非洲部分地區遭到海嘯的重創。據記者史藍道報導說，實際上，「地球上沒有一個角落不受波及。」他還說，這個地震「撼動了地面的每一吋土地。」

19世紀的丹麥哲學家齊克果（Soren Kierkegaard）曾說過，他敬虔的父親跟他說，他自己曾因為遭到別人的不公正待遇而咒詛過上帝。父親的做法讓齊克果感到震驚，他把這件事稱為「大 地震」。齊克果終其一生都在想，他們全家是不是因為父親的行為而受到上帝的咒詛。

在我們的一生中，同樣會遭到類似的「地震」。然而，知道自己即使身陷最糟糕的境地，我們對上帝的信心仍能托住我們，就是極大的安慰。畢竟，「萬有在祂手中」，就表示「你我和眾弟兄姊妹，都在祂手中」。

沒有任何人或災難，能將我們從父手裡奪去（約翰福音10章28-29節）。祂要緊緊握住我們，直至永遠。VCG

In Bible, earthquake represents God's judgment and anger "...Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the LORD Almighty, in the day of his burning anger..." (Isaiah 13:13). While we are often awed and amazed by the power of a large earthquake, we should also wonder and be amazed by God's power in creation and knowing He also loves us . Remember that "No one, nor any disaster, can snatch us out of our heavenly Father’s hands" ( 沒有任何人或災難，能將我們從父手裡奪去) (John 10:28-29).
