Silent Witness 無聲的見證

在一月份一個風和日麗的早晨，我和一位同事在新加坡麥里芝蓄水池公園的一家戶外咖啡店享用早餐。澄清的湖水和秀美的花園環繞著我們，微風輕拂水面，一片安靜祥和與美好。

在不遠的桌邊坐著一位年輕女士，正安靜地讀她的聖經。她沉浸在經文中，偶爾抬起頭來思索剛剛讀過的經文。她一言未發，但是她的心思與所看重的事對咖啡店的人而言是顯而易見的。那是一種柔和而積極的無聲見證。

她不以基督或祂的書為恥。她既未曾講一篇道，也未曾唱一首歌。她願意承認耶穌，卻無須大聲宣告她的忠誠。

我們若要與人分享耶穌的信息，最終還是要用言語，因為要講明福音，畢竟離不開言語。然而，我們也可以學習那位女士的榜樣。

有些時候，我們在日常生活中安靜的行為舉止反而能大聲透露出我們對上帝的愛。在我們一心想要對這破碎的世代分享耶穌之時，請不要忘記我們靜默的見證所能帶出的力量。WEC

Jesus gave His followers the Great Commission to spread the faith to all the world. The most familiar version of the Great Commission is recorded in the Gospel of Matthew 28:16-20: "...Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. " At the same, let's not forget the Great Commandment being to love God and other people. Let's learn to testify about Him with our act of love, isn't it the hallmark of Christian faith, and the best way of witnessing for Him? God bless.
